Los villanos utilizan sus poderes para dispersar y emboscar a los estudiantes para atraer a All Might a una trampa. Izuku termina atrapado y rodeado en un bote junto a sus compañeros Tsuyu Asui y Minoru Mineta, pero luego de aprender más sobre sus poderes, idea un plan para darle la vuelta a las cosas, mientras que Iida es elegido por los otros para escapar de la trampa del enemigo y llamar por ayuda.
