Con la derrota de Mustard, el gas empieza a disiparse. Midoriya se encuentra con Shoji y poco después con Tokoyami. Sin embargo, su Quirk Dark Shadow está fuera de control y amenaza con impedir el camino de Midoriya hacia Bakugo. A pesar de ello, Midoriya elabora un plan para engañar a Dark Shadow, derrotar al villano Moonfish y reunirse finalmente con Todoroki, Bakugo y también con Uraraka y Tsu, quienes estuvieron peleando contra la villana Himiko Toga. Sin embargo, poco después el villano Mr. Compress hace su aparición y pone en aprietos al grupo.
